Dunedin Ice Hockey League
The Dunedin Ice Hockey League is our local in-house senior non-checking competition.
Southern Ice Hockey League
The The Southern Ice Hockey League (SIHL) is the top ice hockey competition in the lower half of the South Island of New Zealand. Teams from Queenstown, Alexandra, Albury, Gore, Maniototo and Dunedin compete in a range of various grades.
New Zealand Ice Hockey League
The New Zealand Ice Hockey League is the premier ice hockey competition in New Zealand. The league currently consists of five teams, two from Auckland, one from Canterbury and two from the Southern region.
Schools Competition
The official name of the league is “The Dunedin College of Education Otago Secondary Schools Ice Hockey Competition”.
Tournaments
The Dunedin Ice Hockey Association (DIHA) compete in a variety of ice hockey tournaments each year including the Easton Cup and Erewhon Cup.
Visiting Teams
Teams often travel to Dunedin to play against our local teams. If your team is interested in coming to Dunedin to play against us, please contact the DIHA secretary.
