Hi Everyone
Please find attached & below information regarding the U13 & U16 Ice Hockey Development Camps Jeff Bonazzo (NZIHF National Coaching Director & Senior Ice Blacks Coach) is running in CHCH in January 2009.
These are fantastic opportunities for players & great camps on & off the ice. My Chris has attended a couple of these camps in the past & thoroughly enjoyed them – also getting to meet NZ representative players who were helping with the coaching.

2009 NZIHF Easton Summer Development Camps
Yes, there are still a few spaces available in the 2009 NZIHF Easton Summer Development Camps for U13s and U16s in Christchurch in January.
Here are the details for the U13 Camp:
The U13 camp goes from Tuesday January 20th till 24th. The on-ice portion of the camp begins at 8am on Tuesday January 20th and will run till 6pm each day from Tuesday till Friday the 23rd. Each day will include three full hours of ice time each focussing on a skill, Small Area Game session each day, an off-ice fitness component and off-ice skills session each day as well as an afternoon fun activity like QE11 or movies etc.
The Saturday the 24th session is a Showcase Full Ice Game with Referees and score bench for where the players will get to wear their brand new New Zealand Ice Hockey Federation jerseys. That final day of camp will be finished by about 10am.
To start the camp off we will have a registration evening on the night of Monday the 19th at Alpine Ice at 7pm where we will give out the practice jerseys and the t-shirts (if ordered for $25) as well as the schedule for the week and all the details. We will introduce the coaches and collect the money at that time as well.
The cost for the U13 Development Camp is just $350 and includes breakfast after the morning ice session, lunch and an afternoon snack from Tuesday till Friday. This is a specially reduced price due to the camp dates being moved.
At the end of the camp, each player will receive a personalized certificate of achievement as well as a hand written report to give analysis of skills and feed back to work on over the season.
