Midgets message

The following is a message for the Dunedin Midgets players from Krissi Wood:

The Midget “A” team (travelling team) is to be named next week, so this Thursday night practice will be a skills practice and the in-house game on Saturday will be the game trial.

The team will be named after that.

The current ice time costs are still sitting at the 2 payments of $175 and there will be additional costs involved in being part of the travelling team (as I’m sure you all know to well!) Unfortunately I don’t have any further information on these cost as of yet, but if anyone has any financial concerns with this please let us know, it will be kept confidential.

At this stage there HAS been funding received which will hopefully help alleviate some of these cost but we are still waiting to hear what will be allocated for what.

Helping the DIHA

The Dunedin Ice Hockey Association Board of Directors meets on the first Monday of every month at the Dunedin Ice Stadium. If you are interested in being involved with the committee and organising hockey events in Dunedin then please contact the DIHA secretary.
