Stick and Puck Sessions – January 2014

Stick and Puck sessions are back for 2014!  It is $10 per person per session (when you have your own gear).

With lots going on in January due to various skating camps the times and days vary week to week. Below is a schedule of the session times until the beginning of February:

15/01/14 Wednesday 4:15-6:00pm

19/01/14 Sunday 6:00-8:00pm

25/01/14 Saturday 4:15-6:00pm

28/01/14 Tuesday 4:15-6:15pm

30/01/14 Thursday 5:00-7:00pm

05/02/14 Wednesday 5:00-7:00pm

 

What is Stick and Puck?

Stick and Puck sessions are available for individuals to practice skating, passing, shooting, stick handling etc… These times are not structured scrimmages or practices and as such there will be no coach on the ice. This is a time to enjoy playing hockey with family and friends in an environment not provided at structured sessions.

Gear Hire: For those who don’t have their own equipment, gear hire is available for $3 and will be open at all sessions.

Equipment Requirements:

Youth (Under 16) – Full set of equipment is required

Adult (16 years plus) – Helmet and gloves are required, although full equipment is recommended.

Helping the DIHA

The Dunedin Ice Hockey Association Board of Directors meets on the first Monday of every month at the Dunedin Ice Stadium. If you are interested in being involved with the committee and organising hockey events in Dunedin then please contact the DIHA secretary.
