NZIHF looking to gauging availability for NZ Ice Ferns and change of training schedule

Firstly,

The September to November NZIHF Ice Fernz/NZU18W Development camps with Jonathan have been cancelled. It was felt that they had run a camp in each of the Southern Regions with Jonathan and Andreas having things covered for Auckland and that due to the NZWIHL teams now starting to practice, exams for school, university etc that running camps Sept to November were not an option.

It is though hoped that each region and players themselves who attended will carry on the work set from the camps.

Secondly,

There is a combined Ice Fernz and NZWU18 Development camp being held in Dunedin 13th – 18th December with an approximate cost of between $250 – $400 depending on whether live in or not and number of attendees.

Anyone interested in selection into either the Ice Fernz or the NZWU18 are encouraged and assked to ttend this camp.  Please talk to your regional caoach / manager as to your ability, eligibility and readiness for selection.  Age 12+ for the U18 program and 16+ for the Ice Fernz although younger players will be looked at depending on ability.

Finally,

Apologies for the delay in getting this information out, overseas players were asked to confirm their availability by the 4th of September.  I’m a little behind in getting updates out at present.
