DIHA Skate-a-Thon September 9th

 

Players: Earn a free Composite Hockey Stick or CCM RBZ 80 skates

This Skate‐a‐thon is going to be used to raise funds for DIHA Hockey Equipment. All DIHA Players have the opportunity to participate and target $200 fundraising.

These are top quality composite hockey sticks brought in from the USA for the purpose of the Skate‐a-thon. The hockey sticks and skates are worth around $200 NZD retail.

All players are encouraged to raise $200 towards fundraising.
All players who raised $100 get a Dunedin Thunder t-shirt.
Everybody will get small presents like chocolate bars etc.

The sticks and skates would be arriving 3 / 4 weeks, after skate-a-thon.
We will measure the kids up for their skates on the night of the Skate-a-thon as skate sizes are different from shoes!!!

The sponsor, who will give the most money, will get a box of fruit and veggies.

Players can earn multiple composite sticks/skates. Multiples of $200 gets a stick/ skates for each full amount of $200 raised.

IMPORTANT – players and parents are encouraged to participate in the DIHA Skate‐a‐thon. Parents are able to pay the $200 now and do the fundraising later.

Cheques can be made out to DIHA or internet transfer.
Player name and Skate‐a‐thon listed on internet banking to the DIHA account
and then fundraise for the skate‐a‐thon. All collected money is going to the DIHA.

This is great value as a good stick or skates really help the kids play better.

All sponsor sheets are due on the date of the Skate‐a‐thon. Comfortable clothing required on Sept 9th for all DIHA players. All DIHA players are encouraged to bring a friend for $5 (donation to DIHA) & $3 skate‐hire if needed. DJ, Music and Ice provided by DIHA.

Parents, players and families all welcome to skate. The theme will be public skate atmosphere wearing favourite hockey hats, jerseys, T-shirts, etc. spot prizes.
