Adult Powerskating Shooting Practices 12 – 16 April

The DIHA is pleased to be hosting an adult (ages 16+) powerskating and shooting series of practices from 12 – 16 April. The practices will consist of five practices, 7.5 hours on ice each, from 6 – 7.30pm. Each practice will focus for an hour on power skating, and then half an hour on shooting.

The camp will be run by Jenel Bode. Jenel has 20 plus years of competive hockey experience, including Division I Ivy league in the USA and Womens National League in Canada, where Bode has played amongst the top olympic athletes in the World for her sport. She has coached for 10 years in Canada as a skills development coach, as well as an assistant coach for the Calgary University Womens team and U16 provincial boys team. In 2007-2008, Jenel was the professional coach for the Dunedin Ice Hockey Association as well as the Dunedin Thunder.
