DIHL SNC results after round 5

Game 5 of the DIHL SNC was a night of tight games and suprises as the competition hots up for the final games next week.

The first game was a thriller and featured 3rd placed Team PhysEd and the 1st placed Beasts in a tightly fought battle. Both teams were locked at 1 all going into the final minute of the 3rd period, Team PhysEd got the win with about 5 seconds left on the clock: 2-1 to Team PhysEd

In the second game featured the 4th placed (and bottom of the table) Oldtimers and the 2nd placed Juniors in another closely fought battle. In a come-from-behind victory the Oldies posted their first win of the season, 5-4. The Juniors scored their 4 goals in the first period, going into the 2nd up 4-0. In the 2nd the Oldies finally found a way to the net, slotting 3 goals in the period, whittling the deficit to 1 going into the 3rd. The Oldies scored their final two goals in the 3rd period to earn a hard fought for win.
