More Skills Challenge information

Please contact Niel Frear if you are intending to attend the 2008 IIHF Skills Challenge. Information about the challenge (including videos) are available on the IIHF Skills Challenge website. Players must report in 45 mins prior to each ice session. The plan for each session is to warm up, practice skills and then run through and take times and scores for various skills. Afterwards a Jamboree game for all skill levels will be played.

  • Gore 12:30pm – 2:00pm Saturday 19th January
  • Dunedin 9:30am – 1:00pm Sunday 20th January

 

Player are welcome to attend both skills sessions. The cost will depend on the number of players who attend.

The 2008 IIHF Skills Challenge is organised by the Southern Ice Hockey League (SIHL) and is open to players born before 1994. The winner of the event will get the opportunity to travel to Canada to attend the International Skills Challenge … 2008 IIHF Skills Challenge Manual

The Dunedin Ice Hockey Association Board of Directors meets on the first Monday of every month at the Dunedin Ice Stadium. If you are interested in being involved with the committee and organising hockey events in Dunedin then please contact the DIHA secretary.
